Home watch for a closed house in Pataias, between the pines and Vale Furado.
Pataias is in the municipality of Alcobaça, between the town and the pines that run down to Praia de Vale Furado. A closed house here is rarely a cliff house like those in Nazaré. It is often a house set back, or a family house that stays closed through the week.
Less salt arrives than on the open coast. What remains is the still air of a house shut in the shade of the pines, and in summer the hot, dry days when the wind moves through the woods.

Pines, dry heat, and a house that is not on the breaking waves
After hot, dry, windy days, a visit can look at the outside, the shutters and whether anything on the plot looks out of place. We do not patrol the pine woods, we do not offer a fire watch and we are not a fire service. If you want someone to go to the house after that weather, it is booked. It is not continuous surveillance.

What shows in a house set back from the sea
Doors, locks, windows, shutters, signs of damp or a leak, taps and unopened mail. Airing matters here because the house dries slowly when rooms go weeks without direct sun. On Weekly and Premium the meters can be read if you ask.
What a visit covers
A visual check, not a structural survey and not a guarantee that hidden defects will be found. A diagnostic visit runs about 45–75 minutes, with 8–15 photos.

Which plan fits Pataias
Two visits a month, on Essential, air the house and record what changed. About four, on Weekly, shorten the gap. Premium includes the check after a storm. A separate call-out, for example after a strong wind in the pines, is an extra scheduled visit on Essential and Weekly, at the published price. Outside Alcobaça that check is within 48 hours at most. It is not a 24-hour emergency.

Do you watch the house because of fires in the pines?
